LAUREL DROPS OPENER TO WOOSTER, 14-7

On a cold, blustery day, Laurel’s young team ran into a hot Wooster squad that had already had two games under their belt and came away on the short end of a 14-7 score. Laurel was led in the scoring department by senior, Cara Wood, with three goals and an assist, before having to leave the game in the second half with her second yellow card. Others in the scoring column with one goal each were Alex Bidar, Kate Mintz, Erin Killeen, and freshman, Julia Rice, who scored her first career goal. Erin Killeen was also credited with an assist. Goalie Louisa Lowe made four saves on the day.

The next scheduled game with Hawken was snowed out and will be played on April 16^th at the Butler campus.
